Damn I finally got this sucker after waiting for 2 weeks. But oh hell was it worth the wait. Every single piece of music is a masterpiece ( no exaggeration ) made by an epic orchestra or sung by a beautifull voice.
Talking about voices, the English version of Forgotten Sorrow ain’t that bad, I think I’m actually starting to like this version more then the original korean. But that’s just taste anyways.

So yeah time for the unpacking image dump/hands on. Oh and not to forget the tracklist ofcourse.

After waiting for months I finally got it. FUCKING Casioromance by Girljoy. It was defianatly worth the couple of bucks I spent to get this autographed beauty. Piece by piece a masterwork and I really enjoy listening to it.

Alot of shit happend and I switched around my pokemons. I traded of Zubat for a Water-Type and some evolved.

Since my memory is pretty bad I’ll just type what’s in the Journal. Never thought it actually would be usefull. Guess I was wrong. ( Edit: Shit doesn’t save everything so I just listedt he pokemon I caught )

That’s about it. I also started playing some trauma center and I’m really liking it even though it’s pretty damn hard to get a good ranking.

Yeah,

Alot of shit happend in the weeks that I didn’t blog. Obviously because no one reads this shit but also because I couldn’t botherd to type anything.
I recently whipped out my brothers DS and started playing Pokemon Pearl.

My personal goals are,
- Catch every pokemon I meet. ( Meaning I won’t search for all the pokemons but will try my best to catch ‘em all )
- Use no Rare Candies, Masterballs or any of that cheating bullcrap.
- No trading with other versions besides if it’s for evolutionairy reasons.
- No EV training because I can’t be botherd to do any shit like that.
- No Guides. Yeah I love finding shit out on my own and I know Pokemon is way to easy to.

I might update the blog with pics of me playing but since I’m using a DS and no Emulator I don’t know exactly how to do it. Oh well I’ll see how it goes.

So yeah what to say besides awesome game. I’m really loving every second I play it.
This shit is on the fly with some really fast pace action which I didn’t expect from a semi-turn based game.

Fighting
You actually fight by walking into mobs like in Tales of Symphonia or Pokemon the screen will go in an animation that will show you the fighting place. At this point you have to already know what to do because you don’t have that much time.
You use 1 ~ 9 or your mouse to select your Hero or Mercenary and you can use F1~F5, Q, W, E, D, A, S, D, F for movement or Skills. Once you get used to the shortcuts you can get really fast and effective with your team.
You can have different classes for your mercenaries and hero and put them on different places in the battlefield. The formation is really curcial since certain classes can only hit the front row.

Questing/LvLing
Suprisingly questing is really easy making leveling as much more fun and easy to do. Each quest so far links together and all work around the path you walk from city to city. They make you go into dungeons and defeat instanced bosses or just collect a number of items from a mob.
Also I’m still learing a lot from these quests about enchanting, forging and using more hotkeys during a battle.
The story of the quests are decent but not ground breaking. Worthwhile reading but I didn’t most of the time.
Also early on in the quests you’ll have to make a decision in what place you want to start. You get to choose between 4 starting town. I have no clue what the differences are but I just picked what I thought looked the most beautifull.

Book System/Game Info
This is something I really like about this game and it makes it so much easier to play and understand. When you start out you have a book which is full of information and information gets added to it by just playing.
It’s chapters are Items, Monsters, Field, Town, NPCs, Mercenary and Quest. In these chapter you can find everything you need to know related to these subjects. Fun thing is that if you kill enough of the same mobs you get more and more information about the Monsters like Droprate, weakness and location.

Items
During battle when your enemies die they’ll leave a corpse which has all the fat loot in it. So to get the loot you’ll have to decide to either leave the corpse and kill the rest of first OR go loot the corpse and be sure it doesn’t disapear on you. You can get various items including boxes which are so far the only method of getting equipments and enhancement stones. You right click on these random boxes and either get a sort of random slot machine or a couple of items to choose between.
So far I’ve had no pot or money problems but I haven’t been buying anything expensive either. You get enough pots at this point of the game to survive and do what you have to do. As for equips, you don’t have to worry either because you’ll be loaded with double equips to even enchant.

Enchanting
Enchanting on this game is really easy and only requires  2 of the same Items ( Armor/Weapons ) and either an Armor Enchant Stone ( Blue ) or a Weapon Enchant Stone ( Red ). Once you have 2 of those you right click on the stones and an Enchant window will pop up. Drop the the items in their and watch the show of a 100% succes rate enchantment.
This simple enchantment will result in a +1 item. To get it to +2 you need 2 +1 items. For +3 you’ll need 2 +2 items and so on for higher upgrades.
I’ve succeeded to get a +4 Rifle which resulted into a shiny weapon during the fight and a heavy dmg boost.

My Character
I made my Hero a female archer since she can sit back and relax behind the swordsman and spearman. Giving her the advantage of a shield. It’s important to have your Hero survive because once he or she is death the game is over and you’ll lose EXP/GOLD. On the otherhand if your mercenaries die you can just revive them through items and continue fighting.
My party at the moment consists of 15 Archer, 15 Swordsman, 15 Spearman, 14 Gunner and 14 Shaman ( For the healing <3 ).

Atlantica Online is an MMORPG with a twist because it has turn based combat. This is a big YAY for me since I’m fan of games like Advance Wars, Disgae and FF:Tactics.
Visually this game is beautifull and the gameplay videos look very promosing too. So the first thing I did when I saw the CB-Key give away on MMORPG.com was doing a happy dance and snatch a key for myself.
